Current Issues in Economics: Inflation, Markets, Subsidies
This exhibit will be a display of the current topics heavily discussed within the field of Economics. With a few graphs to better explain the key points, the presentation will focus on current discourse in areas of Inflation, markets such as Housing, and major government subsides that are being discussed in Economic academia. Visitors will go to the event stand and see several major areas where economics has moved forward recently, including some pieces that our professors at RIT have contributed to this ongoing discourse. They will get exposed to common economic models, trade-offs, and ideas, such as the factors behind inflation and the pros and cons of high inflation values. Additional to numbers, the presentation hopes to humanize the subject, showing tangible positive impacts that economic discourse have had for the environment, small businesses, and other groups.
