CyberCrops Cybersecurity Showcase
Location
Global Cybersecurity Institute (GCI/070) - Outside of CYB-2755 & CYB-2755 itself on the second floor
We will have 3 booths for participants to interact with. Introduction to Machine Learning: Have you ever wondered how ChatGPT is able to create realistic images? Become the computer at our booth. Learn how to create and classify from a set of images you and your classmates create. Our activity consists of participants looking at our premade drawings of an animal from an alien planet and using the small dataset we have to draw their own, and then we will add their drawings to our display. Attack Demos: Join us for an interactive demonstration of various Hack5 red teaming tools. Learn how tools such as the OMG Cable and screen crab are used by malicious users to learn about a user's habits on their device. Become a threat actor and use the device to find hidden information on the system, and learn how cybersecurity professionals protect against these tools. Cybersecurity for Adults: Learn how to identify and protect yourself from online scams using our easy-to-navigate resources. Talk to a cybersecurity professional to learn the best practices in keeping you and your loved ones safe from these types of cyber attacks. Additionally, learn about how to properly navigate social media through our media literacy presentation to best protect yourself from shady business practices.
