Electronic Component Sorting System
Our group's objective is to design, build, and evaluate an easy-to-use machine that can sort piles of miscellaneous electronic components into four or more distinct categories based on shape and function. The system will be able to identify what a given component is based on prior machine learning and send it to the appropriate sorting container by sending a signal to its respective paddle door at the end of the conveyor belts.
