Games, Crafts, More!

Location

Student Hall for Exploration and Development (SHD/011) - 011-1300 Bower Maker Showcase

Visit the Wehrheim Gallery in the SHED to try your hand at 19th-century games and crafts with costumed interpreters from Genesee Country Village & Museum. We'll have beading, paper dolls, coloring sheets -- crafts that are evocative of past and present, as well as leisure activities of the 19th Century and their connection to society and technology. These include jackstraws, cup-and-ball, the whimmy-diddle, buzz saw, and much more. Newer games will be on hand, alongside costumed interpreters. It's a way to connect past and present, in the space of RIT's own makerspace - with the living history museum as the OG makerspace!
