Lightweight Off-Road Motorcycle Driveshaft (LORMoD)
We built a Shaft-Drive system for a dirt bike! While dirt bikes are normally chain-driven, the benefits of the Shaft-drive system is undeniable. The LORMoD system addresses this and puts it to work.
As of the image upload deadline, the Assembly has not yet been manufactured. This CAD assembly shows what the fully assembled product will look like on the day of Imagine RIT.
A 3D scan has been conducted on the bike. The Full CAD Assembly has been placed on the Bike to assure fit.
This will be the bike on which the LORMoD prototype will be placed and tested. You will see this bike at the exhibit with a shaft-driven system.
