Meteor Detecting Radio Telescope
We are a multidisciplinary senior design team in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering and we are collaborating with the Lancaster Amateur Radio Club to address the limitations of optical meteor detection caused by cloud coverage and daylight conditions. We are offering a possible solution to these limitations by building a system capable of detecting ionized meteor clouds in the atmosphere by capturing commercial FM signal reflections.
