Learn more about about NASAs 'Journey to a Metal World' with our model of the telescope that discovered the Psyche asteroid in 1852. Launched in 2023, an orbiter was sent to view the metallic asteroid that lies in the belt between Mars and Jupiter. When it arrives in 2029 it will begin an almost two year long observation and data collection mission. Our project is meant to inform museum goers about the mission and what can be gained from it.
