Molten Magic

Location

Booth Hall - BOO-3730

The RIT Glass Department invites the ImagineRIT community to witness some extraordinary displays of hand skills, heat, fire and wizardry in the RIT Hot Shop! Student teams will work collaboratively to demonstrate the versatility of what molten glass can do in the making process. Inflating, squishing, stretching, mashing, and drizzling it will all be part of the fun! Faculty and students will be on hand to talk about these processes to the audience and answer questions. Come for the glass, stay for the magic!

2100 degrees Fahrenheit of creative potential!
