Perioperative Intravenous Glucose Monitoring Device

Location

Blood glucose can rise rapidly during surgery, yet current intraoperative monitoring is intermittent and manual, risking missed spikes and delayed response. We present a perioperative glucose monitoring device that continuously tracks blood glucose during surgery. The prototype integrates an enzyme-based electrochemical sensor, stable fluid-handling with bubble management, and a real-time display to support timely clinical decisions without disrupting OR workflow.
