UAV with Onboard Vehicle Classification Module

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - 4th Floor

This project is a custom-built drone equipped with an onboard neural processing unit (NPU) that performs real-time vehicle classification using embedded AI. Unlike consumer drones, it processes video locally to identify different vehicle types without relying on a ground computer. The project focuses on integrating AI hardware with flight systems while balancing weight, power consumption, and stability.
