Underwater Non-Destructive Evaluation Robot

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - 4th Floor

Year 1/3: We are working to design a fully autonomous submersible robot capable of adhering to the hulls of navy ships, and above and below the water to inspect and clean the ship's hull. To showcase its ability to navigate all of the complex geometries that the robot will need to traverse we will have demonstrations of our prototype driving on vertical surfaces and inverted. We will also have HD animations of what the finalized robot will look like performing all of its duties once fully operational.
