Carichino co-authors paper on the effects of altitude on the human eye

Lucia Carichino, assistant professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, was a co-author of “Physiology-Enhanced Data Analytics to Evaluate the Effect of Altitude on Intraocular Pressure and Ocular Hemodynamics” appearing in the journal Photonics. In this paper, a validated mathematical modeling approach is used for a physiology-enhanced analysis of experimental data, estimating the effects of altitude on the human eye.
