Hough and Wong publish article on sea-level hazards

Alana Hough ’20 (applied mathematics), ’22 MS (data science) and Tony Wong, assistant professor in the School Mathematical Sciences, published “Analysis of the evolution of parametric drivers of high-end sea-level hazards” in the journal Advances in Statistical Climatology, Meteorology, and Oceanography. The researchers used machine learning to assess how different geophysical uncertainties relate to the severity of future sea-level rise.
