Society of Physics Students wins award
RIT's chapter of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) has won an Outstanding Chapter Award from the SPS National Office. This is the highest level of distinction given to SPS chapters and is received by less than 15 percent of its top chapters annually. RIT's SPS chapter is advised by Associate Professor Michael Pierce and its president is fourth-year physics student Jason Holland.
