Orientation Fall 2019

Navigating Orientation
Orientation is a series of events, activities, and opportunities developed to assist you in transitioning to life at the RIT main campus. The six-day program is designed for you to get acclimated to the campus. During this time, you will be given resources that will set you up for academic success, build connections
with other students and provide you a sense of belonging within your RIT Tiger family.

Arrival
You must arrive on Sunday, August 18. If you would like to be picked up at the airport (ROC), you must arrive between the hours of 7:00AM and 9:00PM. Check this page before arrival for instructions on how to check into your housing.

Downloading the Campus Groups App
With the RIT CampusGroups app, you will have access to the most up-to-date Orientation schedule, and it will provide you the ability to check into events
throughout Orientation.
Step 1: Download the CampusGroups app throught the App Store or Google Play Store
Step 2: Search for and select “RIT.”
Step 4: Follow the instructions to enter the app.
Step 3: Select “RIT Orientation 2019” if you are a student . Theis sub-app will be available starting on August 1

First things first
The first day of orientation you much check in with International Student Services. Check the Campus Groups app for the times and locations to do this throughout the week.

Get your student ID
Take a selfie and create your own personalized ID before Orientation. For photo guidelines, details, and submission, visit  rit.edu/registrar/id-photo.

ID Cards can be picked up at the Office of the Registrar, or at New Student Orientation. When picking up your Student ID Card, please be sure to bring photo ID (passport).
