Online Course Proctoring

The Innovative Learning Institute helps instructors coordinate proctored exams for online courses.

Proctored exams for online courses may be offered through RITs contracted proctoring vendor Examity or on-campus in a group setting.

Exam requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the exam date. Upon receipt of a new exam request, an ILI staff member will reach out to the instructor to coordinate the exam. Below are some key changes that will come with this new process:

  • Online exams will need to be setup in myCourses following the process provided by Examity (instructions will be provided).
  • On-campus exams will be proctored by ILI staff. Faculty will need to coordinate with students taking the exam and provide the ILI with a student roster prior to the exam. 
  • On-campus exams will be scheduled based on availability.

Scantron Test Correction

The Innovative Learning Institute provides Scantron test correction for all instructors.

Test scoring forms may be ordered through the RIT Print Hub.

Completed test forms may be dropped off at the TLS Support Desk, Suite A600 in the Wallace Library.

Results will be available for pickup within 2 business days. We will email you when scoring is complete.
