Tiger Heritage Spotlight: Luticha Doucette
Luticha André Doucette BS ’14 graduated from RIT with a degree in bioinformatics, developing protein surface prediction algorithms. She has since started her own business, as well as served a vital role with the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative, where she has been instrumental in advancing diversity in the area. We sat down with Luticha to learn more about her RIT experience, career path, and what her Black heritage means to her.

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a methodology for increasing organizational productivity and efficiency through a structured problem-solving process called “DMAIC”, utilizing a defined set of tools. You can optimize your company’s organizational systems and work processes by obtaining an LSS certification. As an alum, you and your immediate family qualify for a 20% discount for the certification, held through RIT’s Hromi Center for Quality and Applied Statistics.

Through his sole proprietorship, Bobby James & Co. Media, Robert J. Jackson ’99 (CAST) released a children’s book in November 2020 titled I Like the Me You See, second in a three-book series.
Erika (Soltis) Griffith BS/ME ’10 (KGCOE) and John Griffith BS/MS ’10 (KGCOE) welcomed a new adventurer to the family! Aiden Griffith was born on Oct 12, 2020.
