Golden Brick Award winners
Faculty and staff alumni awarded at the Golden Brick Ceremony go above and beyond their regular campus duties to volunteer or serve in leadership roles at RIT. The winners of the Golden Brick this year are:
- Hamad Ghazle BS ’88
- Kerry Hughes MS ’03
- David Long Ph.D. ’16
- Michelle Magee MS ’05.
RIT Big Shot - National Susan B. Anthony Museum and House
The RIT Big Shot, described as “painting with light,” has volunteers to provide the primary light source for the image while RIT photographers shoot an extended exposure. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, Susan B. Anthony’s 200th birthday and the Anthony Museum’s 75th anniversary.

Emergency Assistance Plus (EA+)
Did you know that the Alumni Insurance Program (AIP) and EA+ have teamed up to offer emergency and medical services to alumni while they travel? The plan includes:

- Medical Assistance
- Assistance for Companion

Jeffrey Newman ’92 (SCB) recorded a podcast about Porsche Cars North America working to create customer experiences as legendary as their vehicles.
Officer Roy Peterson ’12 (COLA) started a new position at the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
Jessica Liverman ’18 (COLA) and Gautam Jagannathan MS ’14 (GCCIS) had two wedding ceremonies this past fall.
