Alumni Events and Activities

Alumni Senior Dinner is held annually and it is a great opportunity for senior students to learn more about the possibilities of an RIT Croatia Alumni Community, make valuable professional contacts. Students sign up for the dinner and are paired with Alumni based on their major or other professional or career related interests.

RIT Croatia Alumni office organize dinner and invites individually Alumni to join and attend. Alumni are pleased to share their career experience, corporate stories and give advice to senior students. This event gets a lot of positive feedback from both, students and alumni.

This dinner is complimentary for senior students and Alumni attending.

Tiger Webinars are a virtual event series created exclusively for alumni through the RIT for Life commitment to continuing professional and personal education. Spanning a variety of topics and delivered by alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and industry experts, Tiger Webinars are offered several times a month throughout the year to assist RIT alumni in their lives and careers.

Become a Tiger Webinar Presenter

Got a great story to tell? A unique talent? Expertise that shines? You’d be a fantastic webinar presenter!

Tiger Webinar presenters work with the Alumni Relations staff to:

• Select an engaging topic
• Provide background information and a personal photo to market the webinar to our 135,000 alumni
• Develop a PowerPoint presentation to accompany your 50-minute talk
• Deliver the webinar live via our webinar platform on the scheduled day.

The recorded webinar is available approximately two weeks after the live date, and can be shared on presenters' social media or websites. 

The Get Together is our biggest alumni event, bringing RIT Croatia alumni together wherever they are in the world. In April 2017 we celebrated 20 years of Educational Excellence in Croatia. More than 400 people attended the event.  We have had several smaller events in Zagreb and in Dubrovnik since then such as: Alumni meet up event in Montenegro, Alumni Meet Up event in Split, Tiger Tour event in Dubrovnik, Get Together in Dubrovnik, Happy Hour with Recent Alumni event in Zagreb, Entrepreneurship Panel & Alumni Networking Session in Sarajevo.

The global COVID-19 pandemic meant that we were unable to bring our community together at in-person events. There’s nothing more important to us than the health and safety of our students, alumni, friends, faculty, and staff. RIT Croatia has created a COVID-19 dashboard to help better assess how to modify current practices and protocols to support the health and safety of our community. Using data from multiple sources to illustrate and track various metrics, the dashboard will inform our decision-making related to campus operations.
