During my studies at RIT Croatia, we had a lot of projects, case studies, team works, etc., and it helped me learn to think critically and improve my problem-solving skills, communication skills, and analytical skills. That approach has also instilled in me a strong work ethic, which is crucial in my career development.

I chose Aachen because I wanted to do my ‘demo’ version of living in Germany and trying to improve my German language skills. During my studies, I filled my time enjoying walking in German woods and I was blessed that my dorm was next to one and I went for a walk there almost every day. Not just that I learned about others, I learned about myself and found a new comfort zone which I probably would never found if I didn’t push myself into doing my semester abroad. The overall experience turned out to be better than I thought it would be, and I thought it would be awesome.

RIT is an amazing stepping stone into the world of business because students are being taught about professional work habits and practical experience in innovative and creative ways. The job offers that I received before the end of my studies from three different industries show the scope of the program and the value of the practical knowledge we gain before graduating.

I am very grateful for all amazing opportunities that RIT Croatia has offered my so far. Even in the challenging COVID-19 times, I’ve had great support in achieving my goals, from doing one of my internships in Antalya, Turkey to getting a J1-visa program scholarship for my internship in the US.

Studying at RIT Croatia is much more than getting a cutting-edge business education – it’s about gaining applicable knowledge and skills to meet challenges of tomorrow. RIT has the amazing offer to study on three continents and get one degree, which drove my decision enroll RIT and I would regret to leave this opportunity behind. Above all I wanted to explore the country and culture of the Middle East. I took exciting courses like Arabic language, East-West Encounters and Islamic Culture just to name a few. Besides my studies, I made many interesting connections and visited a lot of places. The campus offers many extracurricular activities like sports clubs and excursions, what makes it easier to integrate.

Since I can remember I always liked to be surrounded by people; I love meeting and interacting with new people. Because of that I felt a strong connection towards the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

An advantage of studying at RIT Croatia is how the curriculum is organized so that students get a lot of hands-on experience with in-class projects and through the co-op program. They are given a great foundation that allows them to develop themselves and careers in any direction of their choice. During my senior year at RIT Croatia, I started a company and became a co-founder of Enum Software; since then we have been working on many interesting smart city projects such as Dubrovnik Card, Smart Parking Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik Eye, and LibertasApp.

My international study experience was very different from studying at home, but different is good! You grow as a person, get to explore new horizons, and see everything in a new perspectives. The best thing about studying abroad are the people you get to meet, new places you get to see and experience, and different cultures – these are what you will remember forever. You learn to adapt to new ways of studying and living, and different kinds of people.

The Business Administration: International Business program is tailored to equip aspiring students with the capabilities needed to excel in the challenging world of regional and global business. Through case study analysis and problem-based learning, students will actively engage in tackling real-life challenges using up-to-date analytical techniques and data analysis tools. Whether you see yourself in a corporation or as an agile entrepreneur, this program will help you develop your ideas.

RIT Croatia is a good environment for students because the classroom atmosphere is caring and respectful. The focus is on how topics introduced in class are relevant to their professional and personal development. Course topics are discussed and debated rather than forced on students. We truly encourage learning, discovery and knowledge application.

As a proud alumnus and an HR professions, I can say that younger generations of RIT Croatia certainly stand out in the way they present themselves to employers, as well as through the knowledge and skills they demonstrate during internships, especially presentation and communication skills. Internships and work experience represent an added value for students as they learn to acquire responsibility and get the real picture of a business environment.

My whole Erasmus experience was a truly invigorating sequence, for my new life obligations and challenges. My work experience abroad created a new dimension of cultural understanding applied in business and in general. Also, my language skills just blossomed! I would most certainly recommend Erasmus to fellow students who have the opportunity to travel and work, just to expand their mindset and broaden their horizons a bit!

I always had a desire to study abroad. Erasmus offered me to do so and as I wanted to improve my German I choose Austria. Along with the language, I had the opportunity to explore different cultures and meet people from all around the world. Austria has a unique education system where the emphasis is on the application of theoretical knowledge into practice. IMC has 147 partner universities worldwide and the experience of the multicultural atmosphere is unbelievable. Finally, Krems an der Donau is a town located about 40 minutes by train from Vienna.

When it comes to thinking about a career and finding a job after graduation, I had no fear, and I think that’s the goal of this kind of study program. The mandatory internship gives students a unique experience working in the most well-known and best performing IT companies and gives them an edge over the competition.

It's amazing how much study abroad can provide for your personal development, open your mind, help you see things from a completely different perspective, connect you with amazing people and cultures from around the world, help you find your way into education and later careers, change attitudes, embrace change. I was surrounded by a wide variety of people from all over the world, learned a lot about the profession itself, and with the fantastic professors and external lecturers/guest lecturers, I received the knowledge and advice I needed to progress. Countless wonderful things!

If you are still thinking that college is all about studying unnecessary stuff and attending boring lectures, well, probably, you have not yet experienced RIT. The educational program is designed in such a way that all the students are constantly involved in lectures, different discussions, projects and presentations. Not only does it make the academic journey entertaining, but it is also a great way to connect theory with practice. What I like the most is the openness and genuine interest the faculty have in their students` success.

While studying at RIT Croatia, I did my second internship in Japan in EY. I did my first internship in a financial consortium, called JIAM, that helps source B2B solutions for Japanese asset managers. I wanted to work in an international corporation and gain experience in areas of interest for my career development. Furthermore, an internship in Japan opens up doors for future employment opportunities especially if you are in a company such as EY, one of the global leaders in accountancy and consultancy.

Web and Mobile Computing explores fullstack application development, emphasizing the visual aspects of design thinking and development life cycle to realize user expectations. All developers need to understand and comprehend the whole spectrum - back-end and front-end technologies - of the application development process. Our program provides this and more. The students learn how to design, build and cultivate all the different layers of application development which makes them incredibly valuable to employers in a field that has a higher-than-average projected career growth rate.

One of the benefits that I enjoy having during my college period is a number of scholarship opportunities. I was a beneficiary of two different ones - the one for high school success and annual merit scholarship recognizing your dedication to your studies and the organization in previous year. For me, it was an additional confirmation that the college goes out if their way to appreciate not only academic excellence, but volunteering and overall contribution to the whole RIT Croatia community.

The RIT Croatia Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) program provides aspiring hospitality professionals with a unique blend of hard and soft skills, preparing them for entry into one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing industries. By providing HTM students with specialized contemporary knowledge pertaining to the tools and techniques associated with operations in the hospitality industry that is complemented with leadership and communication skills, the HTM program produces well-rounded graduates who are optimally prepared to join today’s evolving hospitality industry.

My knowledge of marketing, finance, management and related areas has exponentially increased since I enrolled at RIT Croatia. Each course I took gave me infinite possibilities to apply acquired knowledge in everyday and business life. Moreover, this college has helped me become the person I have always wanted to be, helping me to further develop my knowledge and skills. This led me to a position in which employers are looking for me.

Our experience at RIT Croatia had been awesome. We felt very welcomed and always had a great support from the staff. The school itself has a great reputation throughout the world, and the courses are high quality: you really feel like you learn something that will lead you to great opportunities. Croatia is a beautiful country and very central which gives you the chance to travel through eastern and south east Europe and discover so many other cultures. We don't regret our choice and would stay longer if we could!

The Erasmus+ experience was beneficial in every possible way.  I have gained knowledge and experience in hospitality finances, I have experienced life in a different culture, I have learned and improved my knowledge of the Spanish language and I met many people and established new friendships. Above all, I had a lot of fun and it has opened new doors in business for me. The Erasmus traineeship was an unforgettable experience through which I have developed my skills and myself generally.

Ukrainian student in Croatia - easy! Studying in Croatia has been an incredible journey, and I can confidently say that the Web and Mobile Computing program at this college has truly transformed my programming skills. If you believe college is about mundane lectures, you haven't experienced the vibrant learning environment here. Engaging lectures, interactive discussions, and challenging projects have made learning enjoyable, bridging theory with practice.
