Alumni Student Mentorship Program

Connecting the experience of RIT Croatia alumni with the next generation of students.

The RIT Croatia Alumni–Student Mentorship program connects students with alumni who are willing to share their professional experience, knowledge, and perspective.

Our alumni community includes more than 3,500 graduates working across a wide range of industries, organizations, and professional roles in Croatia and around the world. Their experiences represent a valuable source of knowledge for students exploring career possibilities, considering their next steps, or looking to better understand a particular industry or professional field.

Through the mentorship program, students have an opportunity to learn from people who once sat in the same classrooms and are now building careers in areas that interest them.

How does the program work?

The program connects students and alumni based on their interests, experience, and areas of expertise.

Alumni join the program as mentors and identify the areas in which they have professional experience and knowledge they would be happy to share with students.

Students express interest in areas, industries, and professional topics they would like to explore further.

Based on interests and areas of expertise, students relate to alumni who can offer relevant experience and perspective.

Mentors and students agree on the topics and format of their conversations based on what works best for them. Conversations may focus on career development, a particular industry or professional role, skill development, professional challenges, decision-making, or simply questions students have about the world of work.
