Faculty develops coping with stress flyer for our students

Living in challenging and uncertain times marked with the effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic, as well as earthquakes in Croatia affects us all. We can experience increased levels of stress and feeling more anxious. Stress can take a significant toll on our overall health, happiness and productivity, and it is important for all of us to learn healthy ways to effectively cope with the stress in our lives.

This is why our faculty, Dr. Ana Havelka Meštrović, Dr. Francis Brassard and Ana Maria Šimundić have developed a flyer with useful information for coping with stress which has been distributed to students via email and on campuses. "We encourage our students to practice the visualization exercises and breathing techniques. They can reach out to the Ombuds office at their campus, which is at their disposal for any questions, guidance or support." Says Ana Maria Simundic, Academic Support Coordinator and Ombudsperson at RIT Croatia
