Ben Meunier is Chief Technology Officer at SoftShox, where he leads the development and commercialization of hydraulic impact-absorption technology designed to reduce traumatic brain injury across sports and protective applications.

Previously, Ben spent 16 years at Oakley, progressing from engineering and advanced product development roles to Vice President of R&D and ultimately Vice President of Global Product Strategy. His work has spanned advanced R&D, product strategy, materials and process development, manufacturing, and commercialization across eyewear, helmets, wearables, military products, and protective equipment. He has helped develop and commercialize technologies including PRIZM, laser protective lenses, free-form eyewear, and advanced impact-protection systems, and is a named inventor on multiple U.S. patents.
