Accreditation

Each of the College of Engineering Technology’s six undergraduate engineering technology degrees are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

What is ABET accreditation?

ABET is a non-profit non-governmental organization that accredits college and university programs in the disciplines of applied and natural sciences, computing, engineering and engineering technology.

Why does ABET accreditation matter?

ABET accreditation is proof that a collegiate program has met standards essential to produce graduates ready to enter the critical fields of STEM education. Graduates from an ABET-accredited program have a solid educational foundation and are capable of leading the way in innovation, emerging technologies, and in anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public.
