Microscope Mountable Pressurized Bioreactor

Location

James E. Gleason Hall (GLE/009) - 4th Floor

This MSD project is an iteration on a pressurized chamber designed to mount to a microscope for real-time visualization while we compress intervertebral disc cells. This device will be used by the Tissue Regeneration and Mechanobiology Lab to conduct experiments under pressures that simulate walking and running to identify therapeutic targets for intervertebral disc degeneration treatments.
