Sign into the website using your google rit account. We have access to current news, social studies, science, social-emotional learning and other topics. The articles are written on different levels, so if you have a multi-level reading class, you can discuss a topic and assign different reading levels (differentiated reading). You can browse the content here to get an idea of what’s available. https://newsela.com/about/content/browse-content/

The database is easy to use, and has prepared lessons with vocabulary and comprehension questions. You can link it in MyCourses.
