Overview
RIT partners with Xerox to provide Managed Print Services (MPS) including printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines to the university.
Benefits of the initiative include:
- A dedicated Xerox Account Operations Manager overseeing the delivery of the following services:
- Dedicated Xerox Help Desk support to handle issues and supplies orders
- Dedicated Xerox On-site technical support
- Automated supply replenishment when Xerox detects supply levels are low
- An environmentally friendly solution that reduces paper and energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and landfill waste
Get Help
All requests for Xerox devices including requests for new equipment, replacement equipment, to move a device or have a device removed must be submitted through the RSC Service Portal at help.rit.edu.
For any issues with current devices, request service by calling Xerox Support at #855-474-6358. Have the device serial number readily available (found on the label affixed to the device).

RIT has an onsite Xerox technician who can assist with minor issues such as:
- Clearing paper jams
- Address book not working
- Lines on printouts
If the onsite technician cannot resolve the issue, the ticket will be elevated to Xerox level 2 support.
