Kerekes and team study air quality in Paraguay

John Kerekes, research professor in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science, together with imaging science master’s student Yuwei Zhou, recently completed a study mapping air quality in Asuncion, Paraguay. The results were published in the July 2022 issue of EM: The Magazine for Environmental Managers. The work was led by Lauren Prox, a Ph.D. student at Duke University, and was in collaboration with Guillermo Pallarolas, who runs the Aire Paraguay air quality sensor network in Asuncion, and Richard Baldauf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
