Reed leads discussion on mentoring students in their careers
Mary Lynn Reed, professor in the School Mathematics and Statistics, was the moderator of a panel session and corresponding lead author for the paper, “Supporting Faculty in Mentoring Students for Careers Beyond Academia,” in the Notices of the American Mathematical Society Journal. The article provides an interview-style report of a panel session held at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in January 2023 in Boston.
