RIT team’s article featured on cover of ‘Viruses’

An article, “A Cut above the Rest: Characterization of the Assembly of a Large Viral Icosahedral Capsid,” by an interdisciplinary team of RIT researchers was featured on the cover of a recent issue of the journal Viruses. The RIT researchers who contributed to this work include Erin Reilly ’20 (chemical engineering), Milky Abajorga ’19 (biotechnology and molecular bioscience); Cory Kiser ’20 (biotechnology and molecular bioscience); Nurul Humaira Mohd Redzuan ’18 (biotechnology and molecular bioscience); Zein Hadar ’20 (biology); Lily Adams ’17 (biotechnology and molecular biosciences), ’19 MS (bioinformatics); Randy Diaz, a third-year biology student from Bronx, N.Y.; Juliana Pinzon ’20 (biotechnology and molecular bioscience); Professor André Hudson, head of the Thomas H. School of Life Sciences; and Julie Thomas, associate professor in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences.
