Shreeve wins travel award for poster session

Alexa Shreeve, a third-year mathematical modeling Ph.D. student, won a travel award from the Association for Women in Mathematics to present a poster at the 2025 SIAM Annual Meeting in Montreal. Her poster, "Joint Denoising and Sparse Identification for Nonlinear Dynamical Systems," was based on research under the advisement of Nathan Cahill, professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and won Best Poster for the SIAM AWM Poster Session.
