Student team presents at IEEE conference

Chase Canas and Nayma Binte Nur, imaging science Ph.D. students, and Colin Maloney, imaging science MS student, made oral presentations at the IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS), held July 16-21 in Pasadena, Calif. The students were supported by faculty advisors Charles Bachmann, Emmett Ientilucci, and John Kerekes. All are part of the Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing (DIRS) Laboratory in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science. Canas also gave an invited talk on “Development of Novel Subpixel Targets for a Hyperspectral UAV Data Collection” at the Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Workshop hosted by Headwall Photonics July 11-12 in Massachusetts.
