Williams presents at CAFFENOL
Scott Williams, professor in the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, was the featured guest at the 2025 ECO SEPT BYOB&W 30 CAFFENOL event hosted by the cinema-arts non-profit MONO NO AWARE on Sept. 12 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Williams discussed the history of Caffenol, an alternative process that uses household ingredients like instant coffee, washing soda, and Vitamin C, instead of traditional, harsher chemicals, to develop black-and-white film.
