Xu and Mohseni receive National Science Foundation award

Ke Xu, assistant professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy, and Parsian Mohseni, associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, have received a Materials Innovation Platform (MIP) research award from National Science Foundation's 2D Crystal Consortium (2DCC). The professors and a team of students will investigate two-dimensional materials for prospective technological innovations in the semiconductor community through the development of low-cost, light-weight, energy efficient transistors, and photodetectors.
