Xu and team publishes article

Ke Xu, assistant professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy, along with collaborators published “Impact of Large Gate Voltages and Ultrathin Polymer Electrolytes on Carrier Density in Electric-Double-Layer-Gated Two-Dimensional Crystal Transistors” in the journal ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. The article demonstrated ultra thin solid electrolyte gating of 2D crystals FETs and the physics of large gate voltages on devices, indicating promise toward VLSI-relevant dielectric thickness and speed.
