Synopsis.
The Upward Bound Math and Science program is designed to strengthen the math and science skills of low-income, first-generations high-school students. The goal of the program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science and to encourage them to pursue postsecondary degrees in math and science, and ultimately careers in the math and science profession.

Limit on Proposals. RIT is limited to one application per target area or school. Target area is defined by a discrete local or regional geographical area designated by the applicant as the area to be served by an Upward Bound Math Science project. Target School is defined as a school designated by the applicant as a focus of project services.
At this time RIT is requesting a preliminary application for all interested parties that includes identification of the target area or school the proposal intends to serve. The notification will help us to determine if there are duplications and if an internal competition will be necessary.
Internal Proposals. No more than one page summarizing your intended target area or school and how the target area or schools meets the necessary criteria for a successful application.
