REMADE Institute workshop educates manufacturers at RIT

The REMADE Institute recently hosted a one-day workshop on remanufacturing, repair, and reuse at RIT. The workshop featured breakthrough process technologies for remanufacturing, non-destructive inspection, and condition assessment technologies as well as a best practices panel discussion. The event was open to all but focused on manufacturers in New York State. More than 50 people were in attendance.

The REMADE Institute is a sponsor and partner of Golisano Institute for Sustainability, and is committed to finding new and less expensive ways to reuse, recycle and remanufacture metals, fibers, polymers, and electronic waste. The event was sponsored by NYSTAR, a series of programs and centers that emphasize the importance of working with industry to leverage New York State’s technology strengths.
