Albert J. Simone Innovation Series kicked off Feb. 28
RIT launched a new speaker series, the Albert J. Simone Innovation Series, highlighting RIT faculty innovation and entrepreneurship, to the greater Rochester area business and investment community. The inaugural event was Feb. 28. It targets senior company executives, venture capitalists, community leaders, RIT board members and alumni.
The featured speakers were David Borkholder, associate professor of electrical and microsystems engineering; Denis Cormier, professor of industrial and systems engineering; and Anne Haake, associate dean for research and scholarship in the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. The speakers were introduced by RIT President Emeritus Albert Simone (pictured).
