Follow RITNEWS on Twitter Robert Borden, of Brighton, has been named director of Enrollment Management at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Borden will provide overall leadership and direction for recruitment and admissions of new students in coordination with RIT Enrollment Management.

Previously, Borden served as the Director of Financial Aid and Assistant Director of Admissions/Enrollment Analyst at the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester since 1994. He also served as Director of Career Planning and Placement and Assistant Dean of Students there from 1989-1993.

Borden holds a master of science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with an academic concentration in College Student Personnel Services. His bachelor of music degree is from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.

He is a member of the National Association for School Financial Aid Administrators and the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
