Rapper T-Pain to perform at Fall Concert

Two-time Grammy winner is sponsored by RIT’s College Activities Board

Rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer T-Pain is scheduled to perform at RIT’s Fall Concert at 8 p.m. Nov. 5 in the Gordon Field House.

The two-time Grammy winner’s appearance is sponsored by the RIT College Activities Board.

“We put out music surveys each semester to see what genre the students would like for a concert,” said Angelena Russo, president of the CAB. “Recently, the top two have been alternative and rap. And since we had an alternative group (Walk the Moon) in the spring, we decided to have rap for our Fall Concert. We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback on Twitter and Facebook.”

Tickets for T-Pain, available at the RIT box office or online at RITtickets.com, are $13 for students, $18 for faculty and staff, and $23 for the public.

And CAB’s current music survey, to help determine who will be invited for the Spring Concert, can be found at http://cab.rit.edu/.
