Facebook Photo Challenge: A new twist Campus life, Photography

RIT Facebook Fans have certainly illuminated the campus, uploading 230 photos in the first two weeks of the Photo Challenge.

Now we have a new challenge: Upload your photos from spring break. But here’s the catch. The photos must have some representation of RIT. Example: Show us yourself skiing while wearing an RIT hat. We also want photos of community service projects or club activities you’re involved with over the break. Be creative, as we want photos from all over the world.

Become a fan of RIT’s main Facebook page, if you are not already. Next, upload a spring break photo to the wall with a caption beginning with “Spring Break Challenge” to become eligible for a $50 gift certificate from Barnes & Noble @ RIT (http://rit.bncollege.com). On March 11, the photo with the most “likes” by 4 p.m. will be our spring break winner.

Keep it clean people i.e. Make sure Mom would be proud.

Here is a recap of the winning entries to date:
Week 1: Marshall Watson’s “Greek Row.”

Week 2: Mark Marcello with his “Pink Boom Lift”

In Week 2, we also recognized Jonathan Foster, who submitted two photos that made the top three: “Infiniti Quad Gauntlet” and “The Tiger Watches

Keep the photos coming and get your friends to vote by becoming fans of RIT.
Final Note — A nice byproduct of the Photo Challenge: We’ve gained more than 1,200 FB fans in 2 weeks since the start of the Challenge. We’re now up to 7,558 fans.
