What’s a public relations department without writers? University News has several:

Vienna Carvalho-McGrain covers student affairs and is the editor of the Athenaeum newsletter. Michelle Cometa writes about the College of Applied Science and Technology and the Kate Gleason College of Engineering. Will Dube covers the College of Liberal Arts as well as the Golisano Institute for Sustainability. Speaking of Golisano, John Follaco writes about the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences as well as the Center for Student Innovation and the Simone Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. For stories on the College of Science, the Carlson Center for Imaging Science or the RIT-RGHS Alliance, turn to Susan Gawlowicz. Marcia Morphy covers the Saunders College of Business, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, RIT galleries and Cary Graphics Arts Press. And co-op student Scott Bureau, a fourth-year advertising and public relations major, joined the team in December.

Other key players at University News are the sports information directors Steve Jaynes and Joe Venniro. Sue Weisler is head of photography and Greg Livadas handles news about NTID.

And office manager Susan Rosinksi keeps all the gears moving and all of us in line.
