I like food. In fact, I’m eating right now. And I’m thinking about dinnertime, even though it’s not even 9 a.m. Luckily for me, there’s food all over this campus.
I’ve dined at Crossroads (love the pizza!), the Student Alumni Union cafeteria and Global Village (tacos!), and so far I’m impressed. For me, thinking of college food conjures up images of lunch ladies with ice cream scoopers ladling Chef’s Surprise onto my plate. Granted, my alma mater, St. John Fisher College, had really great dining services, but RIT takes the cake. (Quite literally—Artesano’s is divine.)
Now that the weather is thinking about warming up a bit, my co-workers and I will start taking a break from our break room and head outside to taste what the rest of campus has to offer. Any suggestions for a can’t-miss place or dish? (I do need to get myself over to Ctrl Alt Deli just because of the name.) Bonus points for whoever points me to a tuna melt that’s to the caliber of Fisher’s Fishbowl.
Man, I’m hungry. Is it lunchtime yet?

The Commons at NTID has great options. It is one of my favorites!!
My favorites are the international vendors at the SAU and RITz. Today was Pakistani...awesome.
My husband likes the melts at Crossroads. He's an expert on where to eat on campus! He makes trips specifically there for those sandwiches on Fridays!
Thanks for all the suggestions! @Lynn — our former co-op student has been trying to get me to try the Indian dishes at the SAU, I'll have to finally take him up on that! And @Karen — I'll try a Crossroads tuna melt and report back to you :)
