The men’s hockey squad traveled to American International for a pair of games this past weekend. The Tigers fell to the Yellow Jackets on Friday with an effort that was less than stellar. On Saturday, the men righted the ship, playing like a hungry team. The 5-0 win was RIT’s first shutout of the season.
On Saturday, the men’s hockey team hosts its Annual “Skate With the Tigers” event at the Ritter Arena from 5-6:30 p.m.
Saturday is also the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee formal, held at the SAU from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are still available and proceeds benefit a great cause.
RIT’s men’s basketball team (4-3, 1-3 Empire 8) went 1-2 last week against Nazareth, Hartwick and Utica. They made a big comeback on Tuesday, rallying from 19 down in the first half to lead by two in the final seconds, but were unable to shut the door.
