RIT’s University News continues to support environmentally friendly initiatives around campus and, as a result, is proud to announce that News & Events has gone ‘green.’
Starting with the Feb. 7 issue, News & Events will be printed on 100 percent recycled, chlorine-free paper. According to figures researched by our print buyer from RIT’s University Publications department, over the next 16 issues: 78.34 trees will be saved; 3,682 pounds of solid waste will not be generated; and 7,249 pounds net of greenhouse gases will be prevented.
We’re gladly joining the growing ‘green’ initiative, and excited to be a part of helping to preserve our environment for future generations.
