RIT again hosted the 4th FIRST Robotics Competition March 7-8. The Gordon Field House virtually pulsed with excitement and the enthusiasm was contagious. Forty teams from the Northeast United States and Canada competed for a chance to participate in the National Competition in Atlanta, Ga., April 17-19. The photos are great and really illustrate the energy and enthusiasm of the event. FIRST was created to enhance understanding of and enthusiasm for math, science and engineering among high school students and the Rochester area edition at least certainly accomplished this goal!
