Welcome to our special Imagine RIT edition of News & Events. So much has gone into making the Imagine festival a success, and we, at University News, have worked really hard to put together a worthwhile issue.
In addition to our “usual” campus news, including stories like the opening of the new ‘green’ CAST building, Xerox’s financial support of the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, a winning Imagine Cup student team, and several guest speakers, we offer a four-page pull-out section about Imagine RIT.
Our special insert is designed to answer general questions about the day’s events and help sustain the excitement and anticipation that has been building for months. We’re featuring several exhibit highlights as well as op/eds from President Bill Destler and PAETEC CEO Arunas Chesonis, and a map explaining exactly where the hot spots will be.
Although the issue was truly a bear to develop, much like the Imagine festival itself—I would think—I hope you will enjoy reading about all that’s in store for the campus this weekend. And, just a reminder, this issue will be followed by our monster 12-page Commencement issue.
