Vice President for Research

Building Research Capabilities at RIT
The Vice President for Research (VPR) reports to the President and is responsible for university-wide research and research support services as well as industry and government research relationships. The VPR collaborates with all deans and center directors and works closely with other University administrators to develop and carry out RIT's strategic research agenda. Reporting to VPR are Sponsored Research Services, Research Relations Office, Human Subjects Research Office, Research Computing, Technology Licensing Office, RIT Venture Creations Incubator and the IT Collaboratory. The IT Collaboratory is a NYSTAR designated strategically Targeted Academic Research (STAR) Center with partners at the University at Buffalo and Alfred University.
