This 3 credit course in the spring semester provides you the unique opportunity to participate in a one-week intensive workshop experience traveling and photographing in Cuba over Spring Break. Through the use of photography, related field trips, and lectures, you will be introduced to a completely new culture and environment and learn technical skills to document the environment, architecture, and the people of Cuba. You will experience the lively culture of Havana’s music, art, history, and culture along with the quiet village of Viñales with its dramatic landscape.
The course culminates in a gallery exhibition at the end of the spring semester. Non-majors are also encouraged to apply!
This program is expected to next run in 2022. Contact the faculty director (firstname.lastname@example.org) to inquire about next year's program.
