Twelve Saunders students attended the MIT Sloan Fintech Conference, February 20, 2026, in Boston.
According to the conference website, “This one of the largest student-run conferences in the world, bringing together hundreds of industry leaders, policymakers, founders, and students to explore the most pressing issues shaping the future of fintech.” February 20 was dedicated to discussions of how technology and policy “are enabling infrastructure, payment experience, and customer trust hubs.”
Attending were: Koa Butler ’28 (finance and MIS), Brennan Lee ’26 (MS finance), Shane Girolamo ’28 (finance and computer science), Owen Cavo ’26 (finance and MIS), Evan Ren ’28 (finance), L Zheng ’26 (finance and MIS), Santhan Sai Ravi ’26 (MS finance), Erodona Ibraj ’26 (MS finance), Anastasiya Tsikh ’26 (finance), Sadhvi Kumar ’26 (finance), and Roshni Tolani ’26 (finance). They were accompanied by Archana Jain, associate professor and chair of the department of finance.
“Overall, a great experience,” comments professor Jain, “and proud of our students for representing RIT so well.”
